Job DescriptionJob DescriptionYouth Baseball Umpire – Saturday GamesAZ Glow Baseball | Gilbert & Queen Creek, AZAZ Glow Baseball is seeking reliable, knowledgeable, and professional Youth Baseball Umpires for our Fall 2026 season. This is a great opportunity for experienced umpires, current/former baseball players or coaches, and individuals looking for Saturday part-time work in a fun youth baseball environment.Schedule: Games are played on Saturdays, primarily in the evening. This is a part-time/seasonal position with the possibility of multiple games per Saturday.Game Locations: Umpires may be scheduled at McQueen District Park – Gilbert, Crossroads District Park – Gilbert, and/or Mansel Carter Oasis Park – Queen Creek.ResponsibilitiesOfficiate youth baseball games fairly and consistently according to league rulesArrive on time and prepared for assigned gamesMake clear, confident calls regarding balls/strikes, safe/out, fair/foul, and other game situationsMaintain control of the game while promoting good sportsmanshipCommunicate professionally with coaches, players, league staff, and parentsKeep games moving and assist with maintaining the league's game time limitsEnforce age-appropriate baseball rules and AZ Glow Baseball league rulesHelp provide a safe, positive, and enjoyable environment for youth playersReport significant incidents or concerns to league staffQualificationsPrevious umpiring experience is preferred but not necessarily required for candidates with strong baseball knowledge.
