• Start Date: 11/02/2026
• End Date: 01/29/2027
• Shift: Clinic hours 8:30 am – 4:30 pm; call rotation every 5–6 weekends (Fri 4:30 pm – Mon 8 am)
• Hours/Week: Approximately 40 hours
• Employment Type: Locum/Contract
• Licenses/Certifications: Active medical license in South Carolina required
• Experience: Prior Oncology experience preferred; inpatient coverage required

What You’ll Do

• Provide outpatient and inpatient oncology care within a dedicated cancer center
• Participate in tumor board discussions and multidisciplinary team meetings
• Manage bone marrow transplant protocols and blood bank procedures
• Prescribe chemotherapy, order diagnostic tests, and interpret results
• Document patient progress using EPIC EMR system
• Treat adult and geriatric patient populations with benign hematology and oncology needs
• Collaborate with a team of 7 physicians and 6 advanced practice providers

What You Need

• Active medical license in South Carolina
• Minimum 2+ years of oncology experience preferred
• Competency in managing outpatient and inpatient oncology cases
• Ability to participate in inpatient coverage and call schedule
• Strong communication, clinical, and organizational skills

About the Assignment

This position is based at a reputable free-standing cancer center in Greenville, SC. The role involves outpatient and inpatient oncology care, including participation in tumor boards, management of hematology and oncology patients, and chemotherapy administration support. Candidates must be willing to treat more than 12 patients per day, with inpatient coverage required.
